I went to see Life as a House in Santa Monica. The title on the ticket was truncated, so someone at the Loew’s thought I was going to see Life as a Ho. If you don’t believe me, I can scan the ticket.

This delighted me for several reasons, not the least of which was discovering my listening audience had ballooned to seventeen.
Speaking of Life As A Ho, one of my show biz moles has sent me some very bizarre swag. Apparently when this movie was about to be released, the studio sent neckties to entertainment reporters and reviewers.
Now usually the crap the studios send out has some connection to the film, but in this case, no one can figure it out (the mole did suggest that one might wish to hang themselves with the tie rather than suffer through the whole film, but that’s purely conjecture).
Obviously there is no way I’m going to subject myself to this film to see if I can pick up what they’re laying down. If you’ve seen this movie and get the connection, let me know. I’ll send you a tie.
I’m going out of town for my sister’s birthday, so I’ll update on Wednesday, with tales of my travels.
Wait until you find out where I’m going. I may have to take one of those ties with me.
