I could not believe how many of you showed up to the march on Monday.

As I looked out into a sea of smiling faces, one thing came to mind: "Don't any of you people have jobs?"

How exciting it was to see you all in person: The Cat Man, Glo, O' Blivion, Poetry in Motrin, Poo Flinger, The Ham Slappers . . . it was staggering. Really, seeing you in the flesh after having corresponded with you for so long was about the coolest.

All the credit goes to Joe (below, left). I don't know how he managed to get you all down there and still have time to put on a tux and a clown hat. And let's not forget Molly, who just happened to have a pink wig and a clear plastic dress lying around. These are my people.

Everyone at KFI was delighted by the turn out. Believe me, they heard you. In fact, Koreatown heard you. They didn't understand you, but they heard you. And isn't that what really matters?

Thanks too, for the swell gifts. Among the booty I walked away with yesterday was an Anson Williams 45, a CD of Raquel Welch singing "Aquarius" and a bag of Easter candy with Fabio's face on it. It was just like my birthday, except fun.

Thanks to KFI, for being such good sports. Not only did they put up a big ass banner and helium balloons, they welcomed everyone with open arms and a pantload of donuts.

Thanks also to Taylor Negron, a great and funny comedian, and an extremely generous person. Taylor took time away from rehearsing his play, "Gangster Planet", just to come down there and show his support.

I also want to thank Bob Long, the fabulous DJ who lugged all his equipment over to KFI and entertained us for free. It certainly wouldn't have been as much fun without him. If you're looking for a DJ, you can email him right here.
