Sorry to be so long between updates, but I was in the desert with my family.
Frankly, I don't know what I was thinking. Why the hell didn't anyone tell me it was so hot in Palm Springs? 120° in the day time? 90° at night? What, are you kidding? That isn't for people, that's for making pot roast.
And why in God's name would old people retire there? My God, aren't they already perilously close to being all dried out? 10 minutes outdoors and they'd shrivel up like Pemmican beef jerky. Oh sure, you can golf there. As long as you start around 5:00 in the morning when it's still a balmy 86°.
Maybe I'm just not so good at relaxing. I'll admit it, I like to work. I like that better than anything. Truth be told, I was experiencing a serious internet withdrawl and it was hard to manage. They had WebTV in the room with a keyboard and everything, but it was $10 a day to log on, and I thought, screw it. What kind of an update could I do anyway?
6/23/02: Christ, it's hot.
6/24/02: Wow. It's really heating up.
6/25/02: Is it hot in here?
6/26/02: Pretty warm.
6/27/02: Jesus H. Christ. Someone kill me.
Yeah. So I thought I'd spare you.
Anyway, I'm going to make it up to you. I've archived two news shows, linked a bunch of very cool charity auctions and uploaded some good mp3s. Not only that, but Schaef and I are hard at work on a new weekly feature involving Fabio, who has finally agreed to participate in this little thing we like to call a show.
I don't know about you, but I feel good.
