Happy Cow toys are here!

You may know that I’ve been doing the Happy California Cheese Cow commercials for some time now. I play a cow named Diane, and the delightful Tress MacNeille plays Janice.

A few months back, I was told that talking plush cow toys would soon be for sale on the California Cheese web site.

Well! Imagine my delight when an eagle-eyed listener emailed this morning to say that they were up and being sold! Right now! While you’re reading this! What do you think about that?

Yes, they are using my voice on the toys, so you know I bought a dozen of them this morning. This is only the second time in all my years of doing voice over that my voice has been used on a toy. The first time was when I did a talking calculator for Disney (as Clarabelle the Cow . . . I see a pattern here), and it just about the most exciting thing.

Now, I don’t make any money on these toys, so I’m not pimping them. But I know from the emails I get that there are a lot of you out there who really love these characters. So if you’re interested, you can buy them here.
