Gateway to Hell

I have an Amazon Gateway on this site.

You may have seen it and not really understood how it worked, or even cared. And why should you? You have enough problems. You live in a world where people like Jared Fogle make milions of dollars for eating sandwiches.

But my Amazon Gateway is a good thing. Because it helps Project Angel Food, and Project Angel Food helps people with AIDS.

The Gateway is simply a place where I list some of my favorite CDs and things that you can buy on Amazon. If you buy those things, they give me a small percentage (about 2% - 5% of your purchase) for Project Angel Food. In fact, if you buy anything there, anything at all, they give me a percentage, providing you get to Amazon through my Gateway.

So I got a quarterly earnings statement from Amazon today, and in the last 3 months, we've made $91 for Project Angel Food.

The problem is, you have to make $100 before Amazon will send you a check. And now they've implemented an $8 processing fee, which means we're down to $83.

So I decided to add a new sub-category to my Gateway, hoping that might generate a little interest (as well as the extra $17 it will take to get that damn check).

I call this new section, "Crap Alert". This is where I'll be featuring some truly God-awful movies.

But understand this. These movies aren't just bad; that would be too easy.

No, these movies transcend bad. They are something else entirely. They are so misguided, so ill-advised, so wrong, that I cannot resist them. They have actually become some of my favorite films as a result of their very horribleness.

Go on, take a look through the old Gateway there. The contents are listed alphabetically, so when you get to the "C"s, you'll find the beginnings of this very special new section.
