17th Penis Story of 2003
A father of nine yesterday cut off his genitals following a domestic quarrel with his wife.
Ochola Adebe from Kajulu West in Kisumu District allegedly chopped off his penis and testicles with a knife to spite his wife.
Neighbours told the East African Standard that Adebe, 50, decided to mutilate his genitals so as not to reconcile with his wife whom he accused of infidelity.
He is admitted at the Nyanza Provincial General Hospital.
Dr Thomas Nyamache said the man’s condition was likely to stabilise despite heavy bleeding. He, however, said they are investigating the man’s mental state, adding that the patient was due for an operation.
Neighbours said the man had had many problems and had severally accused his wife with whom they have nine children of unfaithfulness.
