Well, it looks like I’ll be doing a live remote on Halloween with Mr. KABC at one of his favorite places on the planet: The 99¢ Store! How exciting is that?
At the moment, it looks like we’ll be broadcasting from the store on La Brea, near Pink’s Hot Dogs. That would be some kind of evening, wouldn’t it? Get all dressed up, trick or treat at the 99¢ Store, then jaywalk drunkenly across the street to Pink’s and eat as many hot dogs as you can before vomitting. Sounds like my wedding night.
Speaking of which, 21 years ago today, I was a very young girl in Northern California, getting married to some guy I hardly knew just so I could get away from my family. It’s a beautiful story, isn’t it? Very Hallmark Channel. And since it’s my anniversary, I’m celebrating by getting my first bikini wax at 4:30.
