I’m going to be performing at The Room 5 Lounge in Los Angeles on November 16th. I hope you can come.
My friend Ted does “The Teddy Towne Show” there; a fabulously funny and ecclectic cabaret show. He’s asked me to be the featured guest that night. I’ll be doing about 15 or 20 minutes of stand up and singing.
I’ve done a lot of performing in my life, and a lot of live theatre. But this will be the first time I’ve ever performed as myself. So it should be terrifying.
The Room 5 Lounge only holds about 80 people, and I think the sheer spectacle of me singing about my vagina and telling painfully personal stories will probably sell the night out pretty quickly. So please call for reservations, because you’ll want a cocktail and a front row seat when I finally have my long overdue nervous breakdown.

Room 5 is above the Amalfi Ristorante, which was just profiled in Los Angeles Magazine. I ate there myself a few weeks ago before Ted’s show, and it was a really good evening.
