I played a few new pieces on mr. KABC last night, and they were so good I decided to upload them immediately for your dining and dancng pleasure.

First up, a hybrid. I really struggled where to put this one, since it's a Beatles cover and it's in German. But the fact that it's actually performed by the Beatles made it less of a cover and more of a German thing, so that's where it landed. Boy that was some fascnating reading, wasn't it?

Anyway, treat yourself to the Beatles singing "I Want to Hold Your Hand" in Deutsche, better known as Gib Mir Deine Hand.

And speaking of incomprehensible music, here's a thoroughly unexplainable version of Unforgettable, as performed by Ani DiFranco and Jackie Chan. Any ideas on what sparked that collaboration? I'm imagining a cocaine fuelled binge at Chateau Marmont.

Here's a piece I couldn't play on the show last night, much to my dismay. It's a foul mouthed Jim Backus attempting to get through a recording session for a La-Z Boy commercial.

Here's another piece I didn't get around to playing last night, sent to me by longtime ex-listener, frequent contributor and habitual self-fondler Roger. It's a lovely cover of Honky Tonk Woman, as performed by geese. I think it's a nice addition to the Chicken Music category, even though it's not chickens. Whatever. Poultry is poultry.

And finally, because life simply isn't scary enough, another stellar addition to the Terrifying Christian Music category.

This gem comes to us by the good graces of Show and Tell Music, one of my favorite web sites. It's a disturbing little number by a woman who calls herself "Baby Lu-Lu". Here's a shot of the album, and here's a scan of the nightmare inducing back cover.
