Help Me Get This Job
All right. I can't say too much about this because it's too early and I could really jinx myself. But I'm being considered for a job that would be HUGE. I mean, HUGE. Did I say HUGE yet? Because it would be HUGE.
Oh, and it's on TV.
The network has asked for a very specific piece of video to evaluate me. Of course, having worked in radio for all these years, I don't have video. Well, I have surveillance video from the time I shoplifted Tampax from the AM/PM, but that's not enough. It wasn't for the DA.
That's where you come in.
I have to create this piece of video, and I'm going to do it on Saturday night. And I want you to help me.
On Saturday night, The Gallery Swift is having a fundraising party for their foundation. The cost is $10 a head, and it's worth it. These people have amazing parties.
There will be three DJ's, doing live remixes from 9PM to 2AM. You also get free wine and beer, not to mention an amazing graffitti and mechanical sculpture exhibit by Canadian artist Bob Partington.
Because I need a crowd of people to make this video, and because I want to do it in a friendly space where I can't get in trouble or arrested, I'm going to make this video at the party. If you can come down, maybe you can help me make the tape, and help me get this job.
