I’ve just uploaded the show from last Friday to the archives.
I was only going to do an hour, but I wound up staying for two, which was very nice. Especially since I showed up ten minutes late. There was a fire in the Hollywood Hills that afternoon, and all the streets leading up to KTLK were blocked off.
It took forever to get through traffic, so it was already after 5:00 by the time I got to the barricade. I rolled down my window and told the police that I had to be at KTLK to do a radio show, thinking they would turn a fire hose on me and tell me to get the fuck out of there. Instead, they moved aside to let me in, sending me into the mouth of hell. Maybe they were Bill O’Reilly fans.
Speaking of Bill O’Reilly, Croissantgate ‘07 refuses to die.
Today I opened my email and found the front page of Street Talk, a trade publication for the talk radio industry.

In other news, I see on my monthly planner that tonight marks the beginning of Passover. I see this because I have no plans this month. Holidays are not obscured by unsightly scribbles, noting dates of employment.
I like to tell a story this time of year, all about my father and a Passover Seder we attended at actor Nehemiah Persoff’s house when I was a child.
It occurred to me that I might have told this story on the air. I looked through my archives this afternoon, and I found it in KFI show from 5 years ago.
So here is the story, as told by yours truly on a Saturday afternoon in 2002.
In closing, I’d like to leave you with this YouTube video. May all your herbs be bitter.
