A few days ago, I put up a podcast I did with Auntie Vera Charles. As you may know by now, Auntie Vera and I are both voice over actors. And while we were acquainted for years, it wasn’t until we found each other on MySpace that we became good friends.
While we were at dinner a few weeks ago, we decided to start podcasting together. The premise we came up with was unusual; part improv game, part radio theatre, part competition and part collaboration. And since the success of the show has everything to do with what each of us brings to the table, we decided to call it Pod-Luck.
We put up our first show last Saturday, and the reaction was good. So good, in fact, that we decided to build a dedicated web site for these podcasts, as well as other audio we’re creating. Pod-Luck.com will be online in a few weeks, and you’ll be able to listen to shows, leave comments, download sound files and lots more.
In the meantime, here’s another pod-luck we just finished a little while ago. It’s only about 10 or 12 minutes, so give it a listen!
