The newly unemployed Marc Germain and the perpetually unemployed April Winchell have started podcasting!
Marc and I figured out how to do a podcast over Skype today, from the privacy of our respective hovels. Isn’t that the most exciting thing you’ve heard in the last half hour?
I’m uploading our maiden effort here for your amusement. We don’t have a title yet, so we’re calling this episode “The Good Time Happy Time Half Hour Happy Hour with Marc and April”. I think it’s catchy. But then again, I’m already bored with it, so it’ll have a new name next time.
It’s not as socially relevant as the usually show Mr. K does, and it’s only about a half hour. But there is a lot of cursing, and really, isn’t that what it’s all about?

I think “The Good Time Happy Half-Assed Happy Hour with Marc and April” sounds more snappy and appropriate… but that’s just me.

I haven’t been able to tune in recently.
It’s amazing to me that easily the two best broadcasters in Los Angeles aren’t on the air.
Maybe this will be a good thing for him, since it seemed like callers to his show were not happy that he talked about other topics than politics. And his producer was as annoying as hell. I like animals, but she was insane.

KTLK has made a lot of bad choices over its short time on the air. Moving Randi Rhoades into Ed Scultz’s spot is another one. She’s been screaming about how great dennis Kusininch is lately, and all I can say is he believes in ET’s. Many people have seen UFO’s most realize they are not from another world. Not dennis. We have had two terms of a president who believes the world is 6000 years old. we don’t need another looney in the white house.

The insertion-taboo in Japan’s porno sounds about right – a mite oddball, given their centuries of proud (& very explicit) erotic art … not that terribly long ago, you couldn’t even show PUBES in Japanese porn, at all, ever … you show snizzy-snizzy, you go hoosegow long-time … which needless to say was a real boon to the makers of Lady Gillette. As well as airbrush manufacturers & artists.
I’ll watch “2 Girls 1 Cup” when I’m PAID to do so.

I really enjoyed the show and I hope you guys keep making more. Uncensored April and Marc is a beautiful thing indeed, and actually hearing that clip of Kim Cattrall at the end was painfully awkward

Mr. K was let go to improve the bottom line of the station in order to make Clear Channel more attactive to a buyer.
He will be replaced by network programming, which is cheaper.

I think you should do a song at the end of the show, kind of like Roy Rogers and Dale Evans singing “Happy Trails” or something. (Or maybe the less well-known Harry Nilsson song: “You’re breaking my heart, it’s tearing me apart, so FUCK YOU!”
