That’s right. Somebody needs a diversion to draw attention away from the fact they’ve abandoned their responsibilities concerning a certain Mister K and his minions’ need for reasurance that they should continue doing what Mister K wouldn’t do until the next word from Mister K. But no somebody has taken a “job” and thinks they can just walk away from their committments leaving us with YouBube soap opera installments to keep us waiting with baited breath. Well it’s not going to work ladie. We want our Mister K and we want it now! What a bait-and-switch. Mister K podcasts probably used in somebody’s resume to get their job and then somebody just says ’see-ya!’ to all the dedicated listeners who swallowed the line about some mysterious form of coast-to-coast Germain and Winchell show. Boy am I stupid to fall for that one.

unfallable, if you look up the word “bait(ed)” in the dictionary, it states that it is a verb that means: to tease or goad, especially to provoke a reaction. The definiton of “abated)” is: n. To make less in amount, degree force, etc. So, I believe the phrase you meant to use was, “leave us with abated breath”, meaning: leaving us holding our breath to wait to see what happens next. Aren’t dictionaries great? =)

How about my usage of the word “bait” in my use of “bait-and-switch”? I feel more “baited” in this sense than “abated”.
thefreedictionary.com has the following:

In this sense, I feel Mister K is in fact being abated from all forms of expression including podcasting with April. I take your point on the spelling error.
