A definite “POT” at the end of that rainbow.

  • 2 joshpincusiscrying // Aug 18, 2008 at 6:53 pm

would you have been happier if the rainbow ended at that oil tank?

  • 3 Speedy Cerviche // Aug 18, 2008 at 7:08 pm

    Always after me yucky charms.

  • 4 gary // Aug 18, 2008 at 10:33 pm

I don’t remember seeing the google street team anywhere near my house.
    Creepy

  • 5 bnaivar // Aug 19, 2008 at 5:49 am

Believe me, there have been times that would be a welcomed sight.

  • 6 JohnnyBoy // Aug 19, 2008 at 10:00 am

They haven’t come out by me yet, even though if this county was a state, it’d be #40 in population

dog bitching aqlways on topic here. skip over if you are in evil cat person.
My 15 year old peke, lulu, had a benign mass on her back that was interfering with her harness and the vets said it should come off because it was in a ’strange place’ She had the surgery yesterday, and her teeth cleaned for the first time in four years ,I think I made a terrible mistake. She has got this three inch scar, and she just looks miserable. she had nightmares last night. I know that it has only been one day but shit. Just needed to vent this on some ‘dog people’.

Sorry about Lulu pal jacky. I hope she is feeling better and biting ankles everywhere very, very soon. BTW you did not make a mistake. You are caring for her best you can!
(((hugs))) , really. I’m not at all hormonal, well, today.
Great pic April….’bout says it all.

  • 9 bnaivar // Aug 19, 2008 at 4:10 pm

    Both my cats don’t care.

Nothing personal, they don’t care about much of anything.

I feel better now that she ate something. I got some raost beef from the deli section at ralph’s and she gobbled it down, then gave me that look. ‘Ralph’s? after all I’ve been through ralph’s guilannos is still open you know.” Fifteen lbs of pure bitch.

  • 11 paper-hat // Aug 19, 2008 at 5:28 pm

I think this is your real rainbow April!

  • 12 JohnnyBoy // Aug 19, 2008 at 6:08 pm

palJacky, eating is almost always a good sign.

Is Ralph’s bad? rather than the name sounding like barf?

  • 13 JohnnyBoy // Aug 19, 2008 at 6:09 pm

My wife suggested that I use hireamidget.com to hire a mdiget to walk the dogs. We now have 3 newfoundlands and a great dane

  • 14 pal Jacky // Aug 19, 2008 at 7:22 pm

she has perked up. Spoiled rotten little cur, I was worried because of her age, but the Vet says she has got a couple of good years left ‘unless’,and that she wouldn’t have done the surgery if she didn’t. Ralph’s’ has a generic supermarket deli where ‘gulianno’s’ is the south bay of L.A.’s choice. There’s several of them all run be brothers who hate each other and each claiming that they are the only one truly carrying on their father’s tradition. The truth is that they seem to have all the same wholesaler’s, so it really comes down to which one you are closest to. Usually I go to the one in Gardena because it just ’seems’ nicer.

    @pal Jacky
Sorry to hear about Lulu. Glad she’s feeling better. Yes, I’m an evil cat person with a heart.

  • 16 pal Jacky // Aug 19, 2008 at 10:44 pm

thanks everyone, I just sort of had a brain stroke when I thought she was gonna die. The reason cat people are evil is my sister is a cat person and i’ve been taking care of her cats while my nephew and her have been on vacation. She has three black cats in her condo. I can’t tell them apart and all of them hate me. Actually, I know they just miss her, but I still think, ‘this is the thanks I get for feeding you and cleaning your litter box’

When I lived out in the boonies, the best view on the whole property was the one from the outhouse. No door with a moon cut in it or any of that hokum – given the view, & total absence of neighbours, a door would’ve been sacrilege.

Ass frozen to the seat in the winter, & menaced by hornets in the summer – but that view made up for it. Sort of.

I must put in a good word for cats. I was raised by dogs, but life has tilted me towards cats. If you’ve got a herd or want a herd, then you need a dog. If you want a pal who’ll be your excellent friend but doesn’t merge his life with yours, then look to a cat. A dog is either your slave or, if you screw it up, your master; a cat is your equal. Each has its place.

Gosh, is that HireAMidget.com site on the level? Or is it another DogCondoms.com?

  • 19 JohnnyBoy // Aug 20, 2008 at 9:57 am

I think it’s real…….I may actually go through with hiring a midget to walk the dogs. (depending on the price, of course).

So if I ever do, I’ll be sure to report back

  • 20 Speedy Cerviche // Aug 20, 2008 at 10:13 am

Naaaah. Jacky, most cats are very loving and affectionate. Your sister’s cats just happen to be dicks.

  • 21 Doug // Aug 20, 2008 at 10:31 am

Johnny, how can a midget from Denmark be called a “Great Dane”? Hello, he’s a midget! And what kind of language do midgets from New Foundland speak? French? Or NewFoundish? Or Lilliputian? Isn’t their a language barrier to overcome?

  • 22 JohnnyBoy // Aug 20, 2008 at 10:59 am

hey, Doug, don’t get short with me !!!

    or I’ll hire you

Interesting thought though, getting Midgets from the appropriate homeland to walk the respective dogs

  • 23 pal Jacky // Aug 20, 2008 at 2:50 pm

it is wed and the bitch wants a walk. She is not supposed to have one until tomorrow. Hovering by the front door and all that. Okay, just a few houses, I’ll carry her home if need be. I think it is a pride thing.

  • 24 pal Jacky // Aug 20, 2008 at 4:08 pm

here’s a happy story. I was taking my dogs for a walk. The one with the surgery is on a collar instead of a harness . The other one is 7 1/2 yo and a cancer survivor and tends to get nervous collitus at the drop of a hat ever since chemo. Furthermore, he is very co-dependent on the older dog. So naturally he gets the runs on the walk, while I’m trying to clean it up, my dog who thought was dying yesterday slips out of her collar and decides to go on t he normal route by herself . FAST. It was a horrible moment. I had to grab the shitty one, and catchup with her, he got his ass all over my shirt and it just was a fucking mess. But I’m happy cause my bitch is gonna be fine.

  • 25 Stretch99 // Aug 21, 2008 at 9:05 am

Midgets will only walk Chiuauas and short hairs puppies

  • 26 JohnnyBoy // Aug 21, 2008 at 1:05 pm

Yes, there’s a concern whether the midget could handle even one dog, not to mention four.

Perhaps we’ll just have a midget laugh while the dogs are taking a shit ala Werner Herzog
