It’s such a difficult and stressful time right now. Everyone is wrong, and everyone is right. Everything you believe is threatened by people who believe the opposite. Anyone will say anything to get what they want, no matter who they harm. Polls, trolls and holes.
As we near the finish line, I strain to see the silver lining. I tell myself that we’re turning a corner. I tell myself we might actually be on the verge of making progress. Then I see another commercial with a couple of fat fucks trying to amend the state constitution so gay people can’t have the same freedoms they do, and I wonder when we’re going to just start burning witches again.
And then I see something like this.
A short video, made by someone I don’t know, found by following a thread on Twitter.
It’s just a little sweetness, like a piece of leftover Halloween candy.
And it hit the spot.

If prop 8 isn’t passed into law, he’ll be taught in school that boy monsters can marry other boy monsters. We cannot allow this to happen.

Scariest trick-r-treat experience?

Video is pulled…guess he couldn’t take the exposure!
5 April // Nov 1, 2008 at 11:27 pm
No, it’s still there!
6 Nusa // Nov 2, 2008 at 1:28 am
Well, so it is, and it’s as cute as you said!
But I swear it told me it was no longer available when I tried before.

May all your monsters be hug monsters.

I hate cute.

Cute hates you.

I hate cute.
That was beyond cute. That was cutesy-wutesy. All we need now is an episode of Family Affair followed by The Sound Of Music.
BTW where are the gays who are for Prop 8? And not religious ones either. I’m talking about the ones who like it the way it is, thank you for very much. Who don’t want a ball and chain attached to them. The ones against prop 8 think that their marriages won’t be like the straight ones.
But remember this gays. If prop 8 fails, and your future husband gains 100 pounds and becomes a nag who won’t cook and clean. And then divorces you and drains your wallet in alimony THERE IS NO TURNING BACK!

Aw…Just what I needed. I want one!
Living in a neighborhood with tons those “Yes” signs, I was starting to wonder if there were any decent open-minded Americans out there.

perhaps I just have a different idea of ‘cute’.

That was nice. Thanks for sharing, April. It’s hard for me to believe that my son, way back in 1977 was that age, and he was really that cute. Now, with all his piercings, tatoos and wearing of black and listening to Depeche Mode, makes me wonder where all the cute went. Ah, they grow up so fast…=)

That kid is so cute I can’t stand it! He reminds me so much of my own adorable nephew who I wish I saw more. But his parents have issues with my sexual orientation, so I have to be happy with what I can get.

I saw ’saw V’ on opening day, and even I wouldn’t see ‘the happening’. So was this song in it or not?

Video gone again.
19 April // Nov 3, 2008 at 4:03 pm
Hmm. How come I can see it?

This happens periodically with some embedded Youtube vids. I don’t know what causes it, but all you people getting the ‘removed’ screen can just view the video by going to the original page. In this case, that would be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCc9Ef7Xt0g

How amazingly adroit you are at summing up this time between the election and the brain eating zombies that are sure the follow the riots/assassination/heart attack that is in our future.
That little kid, for a moment, made me think that it’s going to be okay. The world has hug monsters in in and that next week I will still be able to turn on a light and my bank will be open.
Then I think of the Vote Yes on 8 sign in the family’s front yard and how daddy sneaks off to the local men’s toilet for hot ‘n’ nasty gay sex.
Then I realize that if that had been mine and John’s baby I would have aborted it so I’m going to hell anyway.

Hug ambush FTW!
“Hmm. How come I can see it?”
Why it might say it’s unwatchable: Clunky computer? YouTube goofing around yet again? Sunspots? Server busted for cyber-fraud? Who knows?
A person getting that “video is not available” spiel can use the dingus in the right bottom corner to shrink the screen, then copy/paste the address into another tab … unless it really is deleted … I’ve seen many a “no longer available” video that way.
23 DavidinBerkeley // Nov 4, 2008 at 6:22 pm
It’s available now. I watched it.
It was great because it reminds me that I want to have a husband one day who will, if necessary, put on a blue, multi-eyed monster outfit and come running across the room to hug me on a day when I need to smile, get a hug and wipe a tear from my eye about how lucky I am.

Yay! It makes me so happy to see my nephew’s joy infecting so many.
I followed my youtube stats here. Pleasure to “meet” you! Love your blog so far.
