About a month and a half ago, I posted a collection of offensive 9/11 images I found on the web. It was a pretty awesome assortment, I have to say.
It was my intention to do the same thing this election day, and give you a bouquet of turds crapped out by the very worst of society, or at least, the worst with an internet connection.
Sadly, this will not be the bonanza of tastelessness I’d hoped for. There just hasn’t been as much horror generated as the 9/11 stuff, but then, we haven’t had 7 years to make sparkly KKK gifs.
In any case, enjoy the light buffet I’ve set out for you.

i’m glad john had enough balls to mention the fact that voting a black man into the white house is an important. historic thing in this election. i’m 48 and have long realized that there is much more hidden racism than people think. White people will tell other white people some of the worst shit thinking that the other person has to agree. I’m sure given the economy and bust that a white person would have been much stronger than obama’s Over the last few years, i’ve taken a number of kids to juvenile court and it is true. White kids are always given the benefit of the doubt while blacks and hispanics are often just aren’t. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think the minorities are treated harshly considering anything, i just don’t think the white kids get what they deserve.

also, fox news is the one to watch as the returns come in. Karl rove screaming that obama lied because he ran as a centrist is a hoot. Didn’t he coin the term ‘compassionate conservative’ for bush 8 years ago. Remember bush’s compassion during hurricane katrina.

cnn has a crazy eyed Bill Bennett yappin’ off about obama’s ‘moral compass’ Calm down bennett, I’m sure you will find a craps game in some back alley tonight to work off your stress.

Well, the polls in Cali have closed and even Fox News is calling it for Obama. I voted for him. I hope now, finally, we can quit the partisan bickering and get on with making life better for everyone.
I have high hopes for the next four years, but if the USA has gone to hell by the time the election takes place in 2012, I hope, at least, people won’t be blaming the GOP for it.

Indeed. One news report tonite said that 97% of black voters voted for Obama. You can’t tell me that that is because the content of Obama’s character is THAT much better than McCain’s.
Passive racism is still racism.

doug shit.Buck up and stop your whining. Blacks have had to overcome an awful lot. White men really don’t know what it is like to be to have a door shut in their face. So if it has taken things like affirmative action and shit that seems unfair to us white guys, so be it. Being born a white male in the world’s richest country has been the greatest entitlement program for too long.

I voted and pray he does his job. Not because he’s black. I wanted Hillary. But because we DO need a change. Not 4 more years of spending the way Bush did. We live here. We gotta do something…..right? Anyway it was an historic election either way. i pray it works out where people that want to work can get jobs , and the economy gets to where it should be. Clinton started it. I hope Obama finishes it. How did Canada get ahead? geeze. I’m half myself. My dad was Italian though. Why don’t we all finally just live. so much stigma and it’s 2008. Dealt with all of it 70’s and 80’s . Should be a moot point by now.

Maybe now we can get playoffs in college football instead of that BCS crap.

You left out those “Barack Osama” ballots – gosh, I’m totally sure that was just an honest mistake, they even apologized & everything!

Apparently America has an awful lot of “sutpid lazy poeple” … 349 to 173 isn’t exactly a close fight … more like Jet Li versus Don Knotts.

My religious history is a bit rough, so can someone remind if JESUC was the messiah of the Mangerians?

We won. It sucks about Prop 8 but I feel like it’s only a matter of time before we will all be treated equally. Did everyone see what happened when they called it for Obama?

Tho I still don’t know much about Obama (I know more about his new chief of staff) I am completely relieved that eight years of W are over.
A strange nagging worry about “what will Bush do”? is now gone. Thank God.

I took a number of opinion polls prior to the election, and when the question was What religion do you think the candidates are, i’d answer Jewish every time for both
21 clevelandphil // Nov 5, 2008 at 6:06 pm
I heard that they offered as a peace offering to the No on 8 people free dvd’s of Ben and Arthur.

I wonder if the Half-Baked Alaskan will appoint herself Senator when Stevens steps down. She better hang on to those clothes.

Since “no on 8 “got 48 percent of the vote and “yes on 2″ – you remember, the one about factory farming – got 62 percent of the vote, does that mean that Californians like chickens more than homosexuals?

Doug,
In 2000, black voters favored Gore over Bush 92-8.
In 2004, they supported Kerry over Bush 89-11.
97-3 isn’t that much of a change in the typical Democrat/Republican split amongst black voters.
