Lincoln’s speech has been changed through the years, from a “medly” of his speeches, to the Gettysburg Address, to a heart-felt reading of the lyrics to “Hakuna Matata.”
Disney’s private papers reveal that he at one time had wanted to add an animatronic John Wilkes Booth to the show.
The robot was not actually built by Lincoln, although he was consulted during its construction.
Trivia: The outfit the robotic Lincoln is wearing is the actual outfit that President Lincoln was buried in.

the best of course was disney’s president reagan. The real reagan’s mind was completely gone by 1975. So the disney one was the one who gave all the speeches. Also, disney made the hand puppet we know as nancy. furthermore Walt’s head is still lucid in its sub zero environment
If April is properly teased about Wednesday there will be less worries, Yes?
I predict that April will be walking on sunshine when the doctor has finished with the pearls +… and possibly a little before!
We will also find out what other celebrity smiles the good doctor has enhanced…and who was the most most monstrous in the chair… and we will all get the inside scoop!
John will hear secret confessions from April on the way home as the sedation becomes residual… but nothing to do with dentistry!
Worried, April is probably head of heels knowing she’s gonna get the type of drugs only dentists give out so freely.
As far as the cyst. Throw it in when you are making the gravy. It will help unclot the flour clumps. I had my wisdom teeth out when I was thirty five and a year later I had to get an absessed tooth shard extracted. I waited six months so I could use it in the gravy and thanksgiving. After one taste Everyone agreed my pain was worth it.
April, just don’t try to have any meaningful discussions for a few days after surgery. I made that mistake and had one of the biggest fights in my life that weekend. Having open wounds in your mouth really makes you feel sexy. Vicodin and I do not get along, either.
Hee hee, bang on target pal. I’m still not sure what some of those peopel were doing during the “performance” as they had no mics near them and did not appear to be “singing” at all. Truely weird – thanks April!.
Speedy, I sure didn’t pay $600 for my iPod Touch (or even $400), so I don’t know where you are shopping. If you don’t like them (or old Stevie, whom I ignore), stick with an MP3 player or the Zune.
I love mine and it beats the crud out of the local radio stations.

“David Lynch meets Mark Ryden by way of Lawrence Welk.”
…mixed with “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln”. They sure made lifelike animatrons in the ’60’s

Do you feel like we do?

Plus it was lip synched. And looked like it was shot on film or color kinescope?
And nice job of lip synching with that lip synthesizer thingie, Mr. Drake.
Stretch: I loved that Abe Lincoln Great Moments. Remember being scared that he was real as a kid. What happened to that exhibit?
Speedy: Can we ask April about her iPod Touch or is Mac discussion forbotten?

The great Moments with Mr Lincoln saga is too much to sum up here, hence the link:

Sure adorisday, if by “ask” you mean “relentlessly make fun of”.
I still find it baffling that people can, without batting an eye, waste $600 on what is essentially one of those Fisher Price ‘My First MP3 Player’ things.

Geez, these people make the statues in a wax museum look animated! If you think about it, back then, this was cutting-edge technology!

Mmm, goldenthroat-core!
With special guest Delilah on vocals & very quiet handclaps!
You’re sure right about the Lynch part, too – in itself that tune has got a really brainwormy undertone.
Pretty smokin’ SLYT post you did here.
The 3rd nostril is strong with this one.

Is April going to be on Mr. KGO’s show in the near future? I hope he doesn’t say, “Fuck Joe the plumber!”
13 David // Nov 24, 2008 at 9:36 pm
That wasn’t as bad as the Jesus is my friend video.
And I heard Disney is adding an Obama animatronic to Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln soon.

Speedy-
April really enjoys her iPod touch. Anything that makes her this happy is certainly not worthy of my scorn.

What a magical tune!…
Although I wonder if he was sneaking some nitrous between chorus. An easy rig with an extra valve inside that contraption?…
And more nitrous could be used this Wednesday, so April might be singing a different song… … good luck on Wed. April.

A good name for the group sitting behind that guy on the video would be Four Teeth and a Cyst (the Marilyn Quaily looking one is the Cyst)

In the reality world, I am projecting good thoughts and hope all goes well for April when she undergoes the procedure.
But where’s the humor in that?

But the cyst fairy leaves $49.95
