Today I’m posting the first show of 2001.
At this point, we’d been on the air for 4 months. People were starting to pay attention to us, and by “people” I mean you. No one at the station even knew we were even on the air. I routinely found my fan mail in a pile with a “?” scrawled on it.
Our invisibility was a double edged sword. We had no support, no budget and didn’t even get a promo for another 3 months. But we also didn’t have anyone breathing down our necks, telling us to talk politics or take phone calls. We were truly on our own, in every sense of the word.

So wed on TV, please let it be ’speeders’. Every time I tell people that I’m gonna be on TV on a certain day, I lose my nerve and decide to wait awhile before I run amok.

April is going to be on Law and Order.
But I want to see her on the SVU one. She could play a butch lawyer who wants to help a woman, played by Tori Spelling, who, it appears, was forced by her doctor to have 9 babies. The butch lawer , Enniomom (I looked it up on wikipedia) and the two lesbian nurses that the lawyer hires are suspects when all the babies are drowned in a bathtub. Enniomom is the culprit (duh), who had forced her doctor at gunpoint to fill her up with embryos. The lawyer and the nurses end up pregnant with 8 babies each by tv host D0ctor Fred, played by Howard Stern.
And for the Jack In The Box commercial, it’s going to fun watching April and Mr K working together.

Somehow I doubt April will be on Law and Order, but just in case, here are some lines that should hold her in good stead:
“In my chambers…NOW!”
“He opened the door, your honor.”
“No…I want to answer that.”
“I demand a mis-trial”
“Watch your step, Mr. McCoy.” (now changed to “Watch your step, Mr. Cutter.”)
“We’ll take our chances with the jury.”

i’m planning on standing on the 4th street overpass of the harbor freeway and pick a few people off. they’ll all think it is an april fool’s day joke until they start dropping. I hope my death at the hands of a sharpshooter doesn’t pre-emt april.

since april is flhying to new york, she probably is going to be on Martha stewart. If that’s the case all put off my rampage for a few more weeks.
