referring to dave’s link. I read mencken’s ‘treatise on the gods’ when I was in college. I’ve kept it on the bookshelf for years to show off,and really had a profound effect on me. Though I intellectually agree with the atheists on many levels. I find them crashing bores who lack any degree of humor. So on good friday I listen to Wagner’s ‘parsifal’(the year the solti with christa ludwig as kundrey) and realize that pissing off the ‘cross people’ is much more fun when you belittle their religion in particular and not religions in general.
