I can top that. I saw a horrifying web picture of a woman maimed in a motorcycle accident. Plenty of blood and gore. At the foot of the page was an ad saying, “Meet women in your area.” Good Lord!
I can top that – when Fox News put up their article on the poor woman who had the face transplant, the heading showed her before-and after photos (which frankly made me cry). In the lower left margin was one of those “remove fine lines and wrinkles” ads – with the usual heavily Photoshopped before-and after photos. Sheesh.
Don’t feel bad chrisbcritter, it does that to me all the time too – apparently the wacky software does not discriminate based on sexual orientation and simply hates everyone! I just ignore it and go on about my day.
I looked this artist up and reviewed some his work and I’m not sure we are aren’t better off now (yes, I know this is not a nice thing to say/post).
I’m sorry the place burned and that his life really is in ruins right now, but I don’t hink I like his “work”. I didn’t like Warhol’s stuff either as I am not a Pop “art” fan.

“a seminal figure”?
Don’t most artists work in oils?

ok, I just tried to log out three times, and each time I get a message saying “You are trying to log out of April Winchell/Please try again”
I love you too, April – but John wants to marry you and I’m not straight anyway.

chrisbcritter & Gunner13:
Why on earth would you two be wanting to log off?
And even if you were foolish enough to try, you would need April’s permission.
Did you not read the terms of use?
HAAAA! HA ha ha ha ha ha hahahaha!
