Today I am uploading what turned out to be the last show I did at KFI with Roy. We don’t mention in it in the show, and I suppose it’s possible we didn’t even know. They don’t mention things like firings and cancellations before you go on the air, on the off chance you decide to lock yourself in the booth and tell everyone what you really think of Robin Bertolucci and her Supercuts pageboy.
In any case this is a swell show, as evidenced by the fact that we talk about Pat Boone’s penis and Dick Van Dyke doing rap within the first 7 minutes. And of course the second hour is almost entirely dominated by me making fun of Britney Spears and being angry with the post office.
And boy, do I miss Roy. I haven’t spoken to him in a long time, and these shows have brought back a lot of happy memories for me.

Is the April 22, 2001 show lost to tapelessness? I was looking forward to hearing confessions and penance from the Right Reverend Roy.
Or maybe it happened another day? I remembering hearing it live so I’m sure it did happen at some point.

I was listening at the Red Light/Green Light game when they were talking about Lilo and Stitch. Turned on the TV at that very moment and BOOM! Lilo and Stitch was on. It gave me goosebumps. I took it as a sign I need to go outside more.
