Not so fast

The other day I posted a show that I thought might have been my first solo effort at KFI. It turns out I was wrong.

Longtime ex-listener Craig, the man responsible for editing and converting all of these old shows I’ve been posting lately, has produced the actual first solo for our listening pleasure.

And it is pleasurable, because I decided to do my first solo show with a co-host: the delightful and preposterously talented Rob Paulsen, who entertains us royally for two hours.

Just having someone else to listen to besides me would be gift enough, but I even manage to talk Rob into doing a bit of Yakko’s World live in the second hour, with no warning or rehearsal.

Rob is great, and he makes this show a lot of fun.

    Jumping Jehosaphat! A show I haven’t heard!

Must have been on during one of my ’spells’.

PS- I’m sorry April. The switch was set to apathy – I corrected that immediately.

Wow. Pure listening gold. It sounds like you had a lot of fun doing this one April. You and Rob get along so well. This was a nice trip down memory lane for me as I have been doin a lot of searching on IMDB myself and it surprises me as to how many shows you and Rob were in that I watched so avidly as a child

Thanks to both of you for such an entertaining show (and thanks to you for uploading this gem).

Rob Paulsen is the reason for my rise to the top of the popularity food chain in high school. A friend of mine and I memorized the Nations of the World and the State Capital songs. When it came time for graduation there was a vote of who should perform at out graduation ceremony. I thought for sure Heather the head cheerleader singing Go the Distance from Hercules was a shoo in. Not so. In the “write in” box people voted for me and my friend to sing the Nations of the World at graduation…and we did it with deafening applause to a class full of skinheads, gangsters, and thugs.
