CRAP ALERT

June 15th, 2009 · 13 Comments

Yes, it finally happened. I’m all out of crap.

It’s a temporary stoppage, however. I should be getting a load of crap out of Mick’s garage this week. And let me tell you, I’ve got some really good crap over there. Big, steaming piles that I didn’t have room for when I moved.

So if you’re interested In a Sack O’ Crap, I’ll have a fresh supply available next week.

But as long as I’ve got the sewing machine out . . .

Can I interest you in some Winchies?

I’m thinking about making a bunch this week, but only if people want them.

Let me know what you think. If enough people are interested, I’ll make a few and sell them here, as opposed to eBay.

If you want, you can even order some. A lovely lady ordered a pair of custom Winchies a while ago, made to look like her and her husband for their anniversary:

It’s an incredible likeness, as they were both made of felt and stuffed with poly-fill.

I love my Winchies! I wonder why I didn’t bid on the Liza, she would have made a great addition to the gloves.

My only wish is that a certain 8 ball bracelet does not end up in one of the wonderful Sacks-o-Crap. That would make me very sad.

If I could order one, I’d probably request one of a celebrity that AW hates, so she would put more effort into making it unflattering.

    Harold Green, maybe?

Glo, are you the one that got the gloves? Wow.

If you pay her a some folding money, do you think Ms. Winchell would come over and let you take a video of her cleaning your toilet with them on?

    Or do a pay-per-view?

Yes, I have quite the collection of April items. My favorite is the photo of April flashing the butcher. The look on the faces of some people who visit is priceless.
I do like the idea of a pay-per-view. It could be done live on Ustream. Monetizing could be a problem.

Glo, i was wondering if the adrienne barbeau cd i gave april will wind up in a bag of crap somewhere. She played selections on her show. Sometimes paying crap forward is the best thing, though. AB doing nanci griffith’s ‘ford econoline’ is something as many people as possible need to hear. Not to mention her ghastly version of judy collins’ ‘in france’. I haven’t heard it in years, it is a good thing I burned a copy before I gave it to april.

pJ, do you listen to Auntie Vera’s podcasts? Those cuts could end up in one of them. Happily, Vera does seem to share April’s taste in ghastly versions of songs.

Wow! I missed out on all the crap. Are you going to have more of the petite bags o’crap again. I’ll for sure sign up for one. (I’m currently selling some crap-tacular clothes from qvc on e-bay. Up to $8.67 with 32m to go!! woo-hoo.)

Today was so fired until it pulled THIS out of its ass and now I am all happy again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2jcBcESa7o

Bill Scott and June Foray. Mr Peabody, Sherman, Dudley Do-Right, Nell, etc.

With all due respect to the many fine voice actors in present company, of course.

Yes, I’d love more Winchies. Nipsey is still hanging out with the husband’s model cars, and I get tons of compliments on the fried egg tank (although I really need one with two fried eggs on it!)

glo, I should listen but I don’t. The thing about ‘in france’ is that it is one of the few songs Judy Collins ever wrote. It is a terrible song and it is hard for a singer like judy herself to pull off. but AB’s version is just really painful
“..i would live in france…. we would learn to dance..” the exact words escape me at the moment but it is truly the most horrible thing on a horrible album.

I got my sacks of crap today AND my 85-cd box of the complete beethoven . Which should I open first? My mailman probably thinks I’m psycho for the way I acted at the door. Then again he barks back at my dogs so I shouldn’t worry too much.

pJ, I have Vera, April and Marc on my mp3 player and I can listen with headphones or through my audio system. Who needs terrestial radio, I am my own program director and as an added bonus, no ads and time shifting!
If you are at all interested, give me a call and I’ll hook you up. My player holds 20gbs so there would even be room for Beethoven!

Yes, Bob Barker, I’d like to see what’s behind Curtain #3. And while I’m at it, I’d like to see what’s beneath the Fried Egg Tank and the Pigtail Shirt.

    Do I win?
