Cat stevens wrote that song Before he joined that irresponsible Muslim subsect.
Richard and Linda Thompson joined it around the same time and the their son Teddy o has been romantically linked to Judy Garland impersonator and childhood friend , Rufus Wainwright.

Maybe if your parents are folksingsers like both teddy and rufus’s are, turning out gay may be the best scenerio.

Don’t time fly? You should add “4 years wiser.” And, I hope, “4 years happier.”

Congrats. I’m with you on all counts, maybe a few years ahead on some.

Dr. Phil is a total tool.

You’re well shed of that disease inducing influence in your life. And it’s good that you gave up smoking too.
    I miss you.
    I adore you.
    Don’t tell anybody.

    I smell smoke. For real.

April, hunt down the whole episode. you’ve got 8 days.
It is from their first season so it is actually funny.

Now I’m really worried about my 13 year old nephew.
The movie he wants to see the most is ‘about Steve’.

I bought kids his age tickets to see ‘Halloween’.
They asked me while I was standing in line on Friday
and he wants to see a sandra bullock film

  • 13 Pookie // Aug 31, 2009 at 12:57 pm

This is all about you, isn’t it?

  • 14 Pookie // Aug 31, 2009 at 12:59 pm

That’s a great picture. I still have my magnet of Ambala up on my file cabinet, and I’m thinking of pasting some wisps of cotton coming from her ears. What a cool effect!

Everyone I know wants that Winchie so I have it duct taped to the inside of my trunk. Those bastards will stop at nothing.

Hopefully this will delight, or at least distract: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nu6-oxdV1Bg

  • 16 pal Jacky // Aug 31, 2009 at 1:33 pm

I’ll just assume Pookie was talking about me when He/she/it asked ‘this is all about you, isn’t it?’

And while I’m on the subject of me. don’t ever go to the ‘are you nancy grace’s biggest fan’ website and answer,
Yes but I also like to get fistfucked by someone wearing Freddy Kruger gloves. they will ‘violate you’ and you can’t win the contest. Oh and I just mean kicked off, not some interesting violation that includes things out of tool box. ‘

    Harold And Maude RULES!!!!!!

  • 19 dodgerbob123 // Sep 2, 2009 at 11:41 am

I am going against the grain here but your father left you with the gift of humor and intelligence. It’s a great gift to have.

  • 20 Ira Shlamazel // Sep 2, 2009 at 12:43 pm

Dodgy, sometimes the gift isn’t enough. You have no idea how terrifying it is to a child to have a father that is, for all intents and purposes, completely crazy. Add fame and money and drugs to the mix and, well… let’s just say we’re very lucky to have April.

One good thing is the gift he didn’t give her: ape-shit insanity.

I understand your sentiment, but my father is still alive and even at my advanced age, it’s still pretty scary.

After a lifetime of smoking, my dad quit in his med-seventies. Haven’t seen him smoke or detected that gagging smell for about 8 years. Now it’s driving that is about to get him and everyone around him killed.

  • 22 Ira Shlamazel // Sep 2, 2009 at 12:44 pm

Jacky, I think your nephew might be just as worried about you.

I let jhim watch part of the original ‘dawn of the dead’ An early scene when they are flying over in a helocopter and all the zombies are approaching the shopping mall.
One human asks ‘why do they come here?’
Another answers “it must have been important in their lives’.

    My nephew asks me.
“Why did you get THIS on blu-ray?’

  • 24 Ira Shlamazel // Sep 3, 2009 at 10:10 pm

    Well, why did you?
