The bad news is that this security breech happened 9 months ago and they just caught it.
The good news is that my account balances were not affected.
I think we’ve learned a valuable lesson about the importance of fixing the bug system.

I like the return email address.

Its not spam its a phishing letter.
Some people read it and are more then happy to fill in the blanks for them.
I don’t do any online banking so i know all the emails I get from banks like this are 100% fake

I’m still trying to figure out what opportunity it is that they currently do not seize.

@Unept – the chance to get, absolutely free, a very nasty virus delivered straight to their in box! What’s better, it automatically installs itself on their hard drive FOREVER and automatically cleans up (wipes out, actually) their entire system!
Seriously, I know a guy who did just that with one of these creepy phishing emails. That’s the only SERVICE they deserve.
Good thing these clowns are bad at English, as that limits the number o folks who would fall for this. Sadly, given the state of education right now, I suspect that there are people who did fall for this.

Perhaps the virus could install a GIF of April laughing at them manically over and over (or maybe Vincent Price with the sound of him laughing from Thriller)?
$10 says that would hurt.

April, I’m curious- and a little scared- I thought your surgery was to cure the migraines, and I was contemplating the same surgery, did it not help?

RCoA’s comment: LOL and WM. tx

Ira, what surgery are you talking about? Did I blog about something? I don’t remember.

Not “what surgery”…. but “which surgery” ?
I too had thyroid surgery, but it did nothing to affect my migraines. Coincidence?

That is part of AA’s twenty questions
“Have you ever had any surgery done that you don’t remember the next day?.
PS today is the 19th anniversary of my last drink, so it is kind of on my mind.

Didn’t you have something done with your jaw? TMJ or something. It was quite a while ago. Within a year after KFI, I think.
Or maybe my brain is turning to oatmeal.
13 april // Oct 1, 2009 at 10:20 am
@ Ira Oh, THAT. No, that involved my jaw, but it was not headache related.
14 Ira Shlamazel // Oct 1, 2009 at 1:01 pm
Oh! Well, that’s somewhat comforting.
They are telling me there’s a good chance it will help my headaches, but it’s an awful lot to go through for “a good chance”.
A power drill to the skull may be nessesary for me.

ummmmm – Oatmeal…..

It’s always comforting to know they’ve “loocked” the problem up.
